Showing him the ropes - FMI announces groundbreaking new apprentice scheme01
Sep

At FMI we love to be trailblazers and are excited to announce our very own FMI Apprenticeship Scheme and our very first apprentice, Tom.

Tom joins us having accepted a unique opportunity to learn all the tricks of the trade from FMI and, once qualified, will be fully conversed in electricals, plumbing and heating.

Our vision is to create home grown talent and the multi skilled engineers of the future.

It is our aim to expand this scheme in time and formulate our academy to take on at least one new apprentice a year.

Tom will juggle learning the ropes with us day to day with studying at Birmingham Met College and we are thrilled with his progress so far

We are accredited with The Safe Contractor Scheme which is an SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement) approved health and safety assessment for contractors who want to demonstrate that they are taking responsibility for their legal health and safety requirements.
